To our Parish and Readers,
It has been my privilege to have been elected to the Board for Holy Family Services (HFS), our Diocesan center for adoptions and fost-adopt (foster care followed by adoption).
At my first meeting the Board was made aware of a significant need for newborn clothing and supplies. And for Christ Church's response we have placed a bassinet in our Parish House for collecting clothing, bottles, diapers and other supplies such as blankets.
Holy Family's babies are between preemie and 3 months. (Yes, we certainly can use preemie items!) Our babies are those initial placed in foster care and remain there for approximately 3 months before adoption.
The reason for these items is to be able to answer the urgent call from a foster parent when they get unexpected 'we have a baby needing you' call comes and they need supplies!
And Holy Family is delighted to be able to tell them not to worry, we can help!

All items must be new unless otherwise noted*
SIZES NEEDED:
Boys - Size Premie, Newborn, 0-3 months
Girls - Size Premie, Newborn, 0-3 months
Neutral - Size Premie, Newborn, 0-3 months
Clothing:
Pajamas (Long sleeves with feet)
Onesies aka Bodysuits (short sleeves, no leg coverings)
Sleepsacks - zip up the front, legs are free inside the sack
Socks
Hats
Bibs
Outfits (dresses, pants, shirts or jump suits)
Diapers, etc.
Newborn and Size 1
Cloth Diapers for burp cloths
Disposable pads for changing table
Baby wipes
Washcloths and infant bath towels
Baby Bottles, must be BPA free
Blankets
Floor blankets, at least 36" square
Receiving blankets
Fleece blankets
